In Memory of Benher Mengistu
Donation protected
We are sad to announce the recent passing of Benher Mengistu at the age of 22. Benher was a friend and brother to many of us and we will miss him dearly. He had a very contagious laugh that would put a smile on the face of those around him. We are thankful for the countless memories of freestyle rapping, attending church services, and playing basketball together. Although he was young, he had many dreams and aspirations. He wanted to reach out to the youth in his community who had gone through similar struggles by sharing the good things Jesus had done in his life.
As we all mourn as a community, we would like to gather around the family during this time to support his single mother financially. As a result of Benher losing his father when he was little, his mother was forced to raise him on her own. In the midst of this tough time, finances should be the last thing on her mind.
Benher always spoke about all the wonderful things he wanted to do for his mother. Unfortunately, he did not get to do all of them while he was still alive. Please consider joining us in honoring his wishes by donating and/or sharing this page.
